Quote Wall

Since the girls' quote-wall moved out this season, guess I'll have to find one of my own. Here's a start, from a blog by ChetTheManHartley's buddy, aaroncaluza.com:

“Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.”
-Aristotle

You’re going to suffer from the pain of discipline or suffer from the pain of disappointment.
-Nick Saban

[While in the spirit of ProCon posting,

US Supreme Court Justices today implied that it IS constitutional for the Federal Gov to take on the job of caring for sick people in ER's everywhere.

Who's constitution?  Was Ronald Reagan thinking when he signed legislation that put the health care burdens of Everyman's common colds and appendectomies onto the backs of tax payers?

If true, then thanks for socializing the future, Ronnie.  What was wrong with hospital charities picking up the slack, in historic fashion, creatively and tax free?]

Governments and men tend to move from a STATE OF ORDER. . .
(well, it's color coded, see?)
. . . to  a state of DISORDER.
In the time it takes a generation to forget what discipline and sacrifice are for,
a Supreme Court becomes a
turbulent sock drawer.

and
Nations
